I am not joking resources are the most important in this game because you need to have the items to help you create different Ammunition!
Especially in certain situations against all the man-eating swarms of rats flooding around you!

Even with all the resources, you gather you need to have enough to upgrade your weapons! Enemies will become difficult, and tougher, and with the help of upgrading can increase your survivability in other difficulties including in New Game+
Tip #3
Stealth is very important! Not just because it's another play style in the game, but because there will be situations where being stealthy, is way more helpful than going guns blazing.

Always have a Knife on you!
A new way to play in the A Plague Tale Series is having a knife that Amicia can use in the ways of " Last Of Us" having one helps take down enemies quickly and effectively

Make sure to check Amicia's Skills!
Now Amicia has skills to level up throughout the game which is separated into 3 different categories:
Pudence, Agressive and Opportunism
Prudence can help you be more stealthy in certain situations
Aggressive helps you kill guards but is less stealthy
Opportunism helps you craft more items with fewer ingredients to make them
In my personal opinion upgrading Opportunism helps alot in the long run by not stopping at a workbench to upgrade or changing ammunition for Amicia's weapons/skills
