6Steps to Switch Input Method in Warzone
Ensure Correct Input Device is Connected:
Before switching, make sure that your desired input device (controller or keyboard/mouse) is properly connected to your system.
If you're using a controller, make sure it's plugged in via USB or paired via Bluetooth.
If you're using keyboard/mouse, ensure they're connected to your PC and recognized.
Exit the Current Match:
If you're in a match, you may need to leave the match first before switching input methods, as Warzone typically locks the input method to the one in use at the start of the match.
Go to the Settings Menu:
Once you're back in the main lobby, navigate to the Settings menu (gear icon).
Switch Input Method:
In the Settings menu, go to the Controller tab if you're using a controller, or the Keyboard/Mouse tab if you're switching to keyboard and mouse.
Warzone should automatically detect the input method based on which device is currently connected.
If you want to switch to controller, unplug the keyboard/mouse and connect the controller.
To switch to keyboard/mouse, disconnect the controller.
Restart the Game (if locked):
If the game is still locked to a specific input method after reconnecting your device, restart the game. This should automatically detect your new input method once you start a new session.
Verify the Switch:
After switching, make sure the controls are working correctly. Test movement, aiming, and firing to confirm that the game is recognizing the correct input method.
