The ideal racing line for the 2017 F1 cars was sometimes different from what we know. They did not always touch the apex, especially in tight corners like Turn 2 in Hungary. The wider cars in 2017 made it challenging to take a traditional racing line, as they could not fit through some of the tight corners without compromising their speed. See how Vettel gains time against my approach in Turn 2.
