The Albert Park mods fail to capture the bumps and undulations that can make a real difference to lap times. With the track surface being much less detailed in the sim, I could attack most kerbs with ease, while #seb5 takes a more conservative approach in his pole lap. Nonetheless, the comparison between the sim work of RSS and its real-life counterpart highlights the remarkable accuracy of many other factors.
