Pause or Cancel Individual Updates:

From the PS5 home screen, navigate to the game you want to manage.
Highlight the game and press the "Options" button on your controller.
Select "Check for Update" to see if an update is available.
If an update is downloading, you might have the option to pause or cancel it.
Change Automatic Downloads Settings:
You can modify how your PS5 handles updates by adjusting the automatic download settings:

From the PS5 home screen, select the "Settings" icon (shaped like a gear) at the top right corner.
Scroll down and select "Saved Data and Game/App Settings."
Choose "Automatic Updates."
Toggle on or off the options for "Games" and "Applications."
Disabling automatic updates will prevent the PS5 from downloading updates in the background. However, you'll need to manually check for and install updates.

Disconnect from the Internet:
If you want to prevent all updates temporarily, you can disconnect your PS5 from the internet. This will prevent any automatic downloads and updates.

Enable Rest Mode Updates Only:
You can set your PS5 to only download updates while in rest mode, which might give you more control over when updates are downloaded and installed:

Choose "Power Saving."
