Steps:

- You would expect that holding down on the lock button would turn off your tablet, however doing this will open up bixby if you have it set up, or if you don't have it set up then it will open the bixby setup page.

- To turn off your tablet, swipe down from the top of the screen, and then swipe down a second time.

- Now at the top of the quick panel you will see a power button, tap on that.

- This will open the power menu, you can now tap ‘power off’ or ‘restart’ to turn off or restart your tablet.

- If you would like to change the lock button so that it brings you to this power off menu, rather than to bixby then you can tap ‘side key settings’ here.

- You can also get to the side key settings by opening the settings app, tapping ‘advanced features’ and then selecting ‘side key’.

- The setting you want to change is the ‘press and hold’ setting.

- Change it from ‘wake bixby’ to ‘power off menu’.

- Now when you hold down on the lock button it will bring up the power off menu rather than bixby.

- You can also change the double press settings here to open bixby if you would still like to be able to open bixby with the lock button as well as use it to open the power off menu.

- Or you can switch off the double press all together by tapping this toggle on the right.

- Now when i hold down the lock button my tablet brings up the power off menu instead of bixby.
