Steps:
- To make the current route you are looking at avoid motorways or tolls, scroll down the route information and at the bottom you will see the options to avoid tolls or highways. Once you change the setting it will update your route to reflect your choice.
- You can also choose to avoid tolls or highways by default for every route you make. To do that, close maps and open the settings app.
- In settings, scroll down and select ‘maps’.
- Under the ‘directions’ category, select ‘driving’.
- Here you can choose to avoid tolls or motorways or both by default.
