To turn off the TalkBack (screen reader) feature on a Chromecast with Google TV, follow these steps:

Using the Remote Shortcut:
Press and hold the Back and Down buttons on the D-pad (the circular button at the top of the Chromecast remote) simultaneously for 3 seconds. This toggles TalkBack on or off.

Through Settings Menu:
From the Google TV home screen, navigate to the top-right corner and select your Profile or the Settings icon (gear).
Go to Settings - System - Accessibility.

Select TalkBack or Screen Reader.
Toggle the Enable option to Off.
Troubleshooting:
If TalkBack doesn’t turn off, ensure you’re on the correct menu and try the remote shortcut again.

If a voice persists, it might be Text-to-Speech or Google Assistant. Check Settings - System - Accessibility - Text-to-Speech and disable it, or go to Settings - Google Assistant and turn it off.

Restart the Chromecast by unplugging it or via Settings - System - Restart.
