If only the power button on your Amazon Fire TV remote is working, and you need to pair or fix it, try these steps:

Check Batteries and Basics:
Replace the batteries with fresh ones, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
Move the remote closer to the Fire TV device (within 10 feet) and ensure no obstructions.

Restart the Fire TV by unplugging it from the power source for 30–60 seconds, then plugging it back in.

Re-Pair the Remote:

Method 1: Press and hold the Home button for 10–25 seconds. The LED should blink blue, indicating successful pairing. If it doesn’t pair, repeat while the Fire TV is booting up.

Method 2: Navigate to Settings - Controllers & Bluetooth Devices - Amazon Fire TV Remotes - Add New Remote using the Fire TV mobile app or another paired remote. Then, press and hold the Home button for 10 seconds.

Alternative Button Combo: Press and hold Left + Menu + Back buttons together for 12 seconds, remove batteries, wait 60 seconds, reinsert batteries, and plug in the Fire TV.

Reset the Remote:
Unplug the Fire TV and wait 60 seconds.
Press the Menu button 9 times, then remove the batteries.
Plug the Fire TV back in, reinsert batteries, and try pairing again by holding the Home button for 10 seconds.

Alternatively, press Play/Pause + Up buttons for 3 seconds to enter troubleshooting mode, then press the Menu button to exit.
