Feeling traumatized by the experience of a cold-callous relationship is normal.

Althought the experience of being traumatized by a callous person isn't a welcomed situation, there are a lot of people who become the victims of cold-hearted people every single day.

Have you ever questioned whether the person you just spoke to on the bus to work could be a sociopath?

Have you ever questioned if your father -- who did a pretty okay job helping to raise you -- is a psychopath?

Have you ever looked at a public figure (teacher, coach, doctor, lawyer, etc) and ask yourself if he or she could ever harm you without a clear conscience?

I'm sure your answers to these questions would be "no."

In this live chat, I discuss both cognitive vs affective empathy that is often unseen in relatinoships with what appears to be a cold-hearted and callous person.
