How To Unify Japan - Tutorial - Europa Universalis 4: The Cossacks

This video demonstrates my personal preferences in unifying Japan as the shogunate, and is not actually the best and ultimate way to unify Japan. However, for me personally, these three methods have worked best, and I will go over them in this video:
1. Diplomatic Annexation
2. Enforce Peace
3. Baiting an Independence War
In diplomatic annexation, we use the normal process of being in a relationship with a daimyo for at least 10 years, having a relation of at 190, and a liberty desire for the daimyo of less than 50.
For enforce peace, we have to wait until two daimyo's decide to go to war with each other. As the shogunate, you can then jump in on the defender's side. At the end of the war, you can then annex the attacking daimyo.
Baiting an independence war works best for unification of Japan, when the other two options haven't worked for you or don't work anymore, probably a bit later in the game. Make sure that you get the liberty desire for that particular daimyo as high as possible. If liberty desire gets to 100 percent, you are almost guaranteed to have a war declared against you.
Furthermore, we go over some small tips.
-Set national focus to Administrative points.
-Research aggressive expansion and especially Overextension
-Break vassalization penalties
-Timing diplo-annexations
-Focus on Ryukyu or Ainu when you're waiting for truces or improved relations
