You can follow the steps below to upgrade the Debian 10 Buster version installed on your PC to Debian 11 Bullseye.

Step 1: Before you start updating your Debian computer, you need to update the packages and software on your system. To do this, open the terminal and run the relevant commands in order.

Step 2: Once you have prepared your system for the update, you can begin the upgrade process. However, you need to replace the repository addresses of your old version with the codename of the new version. To replace Buster addresses in the repository list with Bullseye, run the relevant command.

Step 3: After editing the repository file, update the package list.

Step 4: After preparing your PC, you can now proceed to the upgrade process. For a full upgrade, run the corresponding command in the terminal.

Step 5: Depending on the Internet connection your PC is connected to, it may take time to download the packages. After updating your system, run the relevant command in the terminal to remove unnecessary packages.

Step 6: Finally, restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

Step 7: After logging in to your system, check the version in Settings / About.
