How to View your Friends Hours Played in Hours & Days on Xbox Series X|S profile (Best Method)
1Through a Friend's Profile and Game Stats
This method allows you to see their playtime for games that you also have or that show up on their activity feed.
Open the Guide: Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the Guide.
Navigate to People: Scroll to the People tab (usually indicated by two overlapping figures).
Find your Friend: Scroll through your friends list and select the friend whose playtime you want to view. Press the A button.
View Full Profile: On their friend card, select See full profile.
Go to Gaming: On their profile page, scroll over to the Gaming tab. This tab lists the games they've played, achievements, and sometimes playtime.
Select a Game: Scroll down through the list of games your friend has played. Select the specific game for which you want to see their playtime.
View Stats: On the game's page within their profile, you'll see different sections. Look for and select Stats (it might be under a "Progress" section first, then you'd select "Stats" from there).
Find "Time Played": In the "Stats" section, "Time Played" (or similar wording) should be one of the first metrics listed. It will typically show the playtime in "D d H h M m" format (e.g., "5d 12h 30m" for 5 days, 12 hours, 30 minutes).
Compare with Friends (Optional): For many games, you can select "Time Played" to bring up a leaderboard showing your friends' rankings and their respective playtimes for that specific game. This is a great way to see multiple friends' playtimes at once for a particular title.
