How Venom Can Be in the MCU
215Venom directed by Ruben Fleischer and starring Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Woody Harrelson and Jenny Slate comes out on October 5th, 2018. The Sony film is the first attempt to create a universe of Spider-Man characters without Spider-Man being the main focus. Tom Hardy plays Eddie Brock who is melded with an alien symbiote with horrific consequences…and some advantages. The film’s synopsis reads as follows: one of Marvel’s most enigmatic, complex and badass characters comes to the big screen, starring Academy Award nominated actor Tom Hardy as the lethal protector Venom.
