In today's video, I explain my theory on why the continued success of Xbox Game Pass will hurt physical disc game sales in the next 5 years. Depending on who you are, this isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Game Pass' success opens opportunities for Microsoft to license in more games and grow the program as a whole. While this great, it puts pressure on anyone but the top developers to add their games to Game Pass. With so much to play in Game Pass, gamers will be less willing to buy games outside the subscription as the platform continues to grow.
