Scrap is my current solution to visualizing the player getting points. Prior to this, you just kind of had to know if you got score by performing something, but now you can actually see you getting more points. It still can be a bit more clearer but overall I think its good so far.

Mines is first "disruptor" enemy, latching on to debris and pushing away nearby objects with great force once the player comes close. It pushes things away when killed, and if its parent debris is destroyed, it detonates into several bullets.
