Welcome back to We Play Games! In celebration of the 2nd birthday of Humankind, I'm gonna bust out a series of videos just kinda talking about each era, ways to prioritize things within those eras, and how I approach the game.
The Medieval Era represents one of the last, best opportunities to start clearing out potentially annoying AI if you let them grow for too long. Paying attention to the different AI can help you direct your ire and determine when you want to start down the warpath, but given how bananas powerful the Mauryans are in the Classical and how aggressively the AI gobbles up cultures in the Ancient Era, the Medieval is *typically* one of the most reliable eras to start bullying the other civilizations.
As a consequence, this video is going to go a bit more into detail in regards to military considerations than some of our past videos. The lessons within are applicable in most eras, both on the strategic layer as well as the tactical layer (if you choose to do manual battles). Let me know if you found this video helpful!
