Welcome back to We Play Games! In celebration of the 2nd birthday of Humankind, I'm gonna bust out a series of videos just kinda talking about each era, ways to prioritize things within those eras, and how I approach the game.
The Classical Era is, by and large, Ancient+; a lot of the considerations you need to think about in regards to the development of your civilization during the Ancient Era are still applicable here. That said, unless you are playing on a giant map with relatively few AI, you will want to begin positioning yourself for warfare either during the Classical or Medieval period, depending on what the map looks like, so in this episode I'm going to teach you how to position yourself to capitalize on that. The Classical Era also offers access to some of the best cultures in the game, so keep your eyes peeled!
