Welcome back to We Play Games! In celebration of the 2nd birthday of Humankind, I'm gonna bust out a series of videos just kinda talking about each era, ways to prioritize things within those eras, and how I approach the game.
The Ancient Era represents the beginning of agrarian societies in human history (well, for most cultures), and as such the beginning of specialized economies and cultural developments. There's a lot to dig into in the Ancient Era, but the long and short of it is pretty simple- due to stacking Legacy Traits, you should aim to move through the Ancient Era as quickly as is reasonably possible. What should you look for in a quick Ancient Era? What can you accomplish if you do indeed rush through said Era, and what does rushing through cost you?
