Description:
Hunt: Showdown 1896 runs through Proton, using the VKD3D since it uses DX12 on Windows
Performance feels great on Linux, it seems to run in the same line of performance as the Windows, probably just very slightly worse, but within margin of error, which is something very positive compared to many other titles that uses Unreal Engine for example (Hunt uses Cryengine).
Regarding stability and visual differences, perfect on both, no crashes, everything works as it should.
Altough, I haven't gone online to try the game under Linux, some people on ProtonDB at the time of the video report disconnects, but probably it is fixed nowadays (who knows), i might need to try it out.
Instead of OBS to record on Linux, this time I've moved on to GPU Screen Recorder on Linux, which delivers a much more smoother video, performance impact it's in the same line of OBS, so I don't feel like cheating in here.
