Well, this is a particular case. If overgeared, he's a rather easy boss - I quickly managed to reach the 9m30 berserk alive, with bosses at 10% health, simply using the dispel FD Legendary on cooldown.
The issue is that, if you don't have the damage, you need to start taking serious risks. And that is what made this fight hard.

To gain dps, you have to use the "whispers of power" debuff. It increases your damage - so it's great to have for bursts - but reduces your max health. At +/-90% damage/health you have a lot of damage but :
- if you take any damage at the same time as a bolt from the boss, you die
- your pet will die unless he has his defensive up (and rarely does die even with his cd)

So, let's see everything that can wipe you.

First, as said above, letting whispers of powers stack will kill you eventually. So you need to use the dispel legendary. But, in order to beat the berserk, you have to use it. So it's best to time with your cooldowns/pet defensive cooldown, but make sure to dispel it when burst isn't up.
Note that since berserk is 9min30, you can delay the bursts a bit, since you only have 5 for the fight.

Second, the AoEs on the ground do nearly nothing - except if you have reduced health. Then they must be avoided.
The cone from the boss will stun you for 12 seconds. It will probably kill you, or make you lose too much dps.

Third, when bosses activate a relic, mobs spawn.
For the visage from beyond, sometimes he fears you. And he lasts for 2 whole minutes. Fear can send you into the water (-99% damage/30 seconds), a stun from the boss, or a stun from the bubble orbs. So a fear is probably a wipe.
To deal with it, I always had the caster activate the relic first. Then I kept beast cleave up. My goal was to have one fear go off then getting the visage at 1 health - interrupting him - before the second one.
Careful though not to get the caster to activate the same relic twice - it will be an instant wipe. Make sure to switch to the melee boss as soon as the relic is activated.

The adds from the melee boss are easy if you have turtle. If not, dispel the debuff to get your max helath back, and interrupt one. If will probably miss you and, if not, deal around 80-90k : make sure to be full health.

Finally, the relics have an extra effect in Mythic. That effect gets stronger over time. The water one will summon bubbles that stun you for 8 seconds. The void one will attract you - it can get dangerous if you need to avoid the caster's cone or a bubble. The storm one will deal a little damage and kill you if you get under 25%.
The easiest rotation is storm - void - water. However you cannot rely on the debuff, and need to FD on CD near the end to avoid debuffs stacking.

So I had to do water - void - storm.
I was surprised when they died with 30 seconds to spare, but hey, they are dead.
