2Well, I guess I might say this is my first run`n gun clear!
Hyper Princess Pitch is a run`n gun shooter by Remar Games (via Game Maker) released in 2011.
It basically resembles other games like Total Carnage, Smash TV, OutZone, Gundhara, etc.
The game`s screen system is basically similar to Smash TV.
You have different weapon sets:
-Brick: Standard weapon. Can rapidly fire bricks.
-Ice: A short ranged weapon that cancels bullets. It does a significant amount of damage when pointblanking
-Rainbow: Fires shots that bounces off walls.
Weapon activation items list:
-Catstrike: Summons Catstrike which causes explosions.
-Bowbomb: Releases a spread of rainbow bullets.
Temporary weapon items list:
-Triple: Fires three shots at the same time.
-Power: Increases the power of the weapons.
-Catellite: Summons spinning cats that protect you.
-Speed: Increases the movement speed and firing speed.
-Hyper: Fires explosive gold bricks.
-Hyper X: A weapon that consists of a strong tempest flamethrower.
-Hyper Z: A weapon that consists of an ice cyclone.
The items appear randomly, and it can determine the fate of a run.
You different difficulty levels:
-Trainee: Easy difficulty mode. You start with 5 lives, score multiplier is x1, and bosses have half health.
-Combat Lady: Mild difficulty mode. You start with 4 lives in stock, score multiplier is x2, and bosses have more health.
-Battle Princess: Normal difficulty mode. You start with 3 lives in stock, score multiplier is x4, and enemies will get agressive.
-War Queen: Hard difficulty mode. You start with 2 lives in stock, score multiplier is x6, and enemies get more agressive.
-Goddess of Explosions: Expert difficulty mode. You start with 1 life in stock, score mutlilier is x8, enemies get way more agressive, and bosses use final attacks.
-Reallyjoel`s Mom: A secret joke difficulty selectable by pressing right on the difficulty screen for 10 seconds. You start with 0 lives in stock, score multiplier is x1, enemies are super dupper ultra fucking drugged they attack you with no mercy. This difficulty mode is meant to be impossible, making super hard for a human to complete it legitimally.
For every stage clear, you get an extend, as well bonus for how many rooms you clear without getting damaged.
You if you press Up, Down, Left, Right, or Up Down, Right, Left, you can counter bullets and perform piledrivers on enemies.
There`s a hidden Stage X, which can be accessed by countering the giant laser from the Stage 3 Boss.
If you press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, you can summon the Godess of explosions. Keep in mind that she can be summed only only once per game.
When you finish off a boss, you can get close to it to perform a Princess Buster!
I still enjoyed every second of this game. It has very nice voice acting!
