Story time: I first recorded this Strange Challenge as a way of making sure my recording settings were still accurate, and that the game would still record fine - this is good practice when it's been a bit between episodes. It was a good thing I did, because the title of the HyperRogue window apparently changes when the version updates, and that's enough to break window capture. I caught that when I was setting up, and was able to record this successfully.

...then after I was done here, I recorded a second episode for Pure Tactics Alchemist Lab, and for _some reason_, the entire video came out black screen, completely unusable footage. Argh. So, well, at least we have this. I'll try recording Pure Tactics Alchemist Lab again sometime.

As for the challenge itself, it's an intriguing setup - a finite universe with two lands. My rough ideas for highscores were the following, but I'm sure an even higher score could do an even better job at this:

* Use the fire cultists to burn as much slime near the boundary as possible, to give slime beasts fewer locations to spawn in and less ability to get to the player. Don't burn _all_ the slime away, though, because having thin boundaries that can be attacked across would still be a good way to funnel/escape incoming cultists.

* At higher treasure counts, mostly hang out in R'lyeh to suppress cultists spawns, and any slime spawns would have trouble getting to the player. Only peek out to get Elixirs near the boundaries (ideally in completely black areas with no slime in them). Keep Elixir and Statue treasure counts roughly equal.

* Where possible, kill slimes so their splashes only occur on the Alchemist lab side - you probably don't want slime to spread inside R'lyeh because that would mean you get attacked by both slimes and cultists simultaneously.

I was concerned about Cthulhu tentacles spawning but that never seemed to happen, maybe that doesn't happen in finite lands?

This was a decent score but I'm sure someone will come along and beat it sometime.
