I built a wall around Rusts most important monument, the outpost. The outpost is something that players rely on a LOT these days as it provides a bunch of different amenities such as recyclers, a refinery, marketplace and of course most importantly, a drumkit, all from the security of a safezone. So, I set out to build a wall around the entire thing and make it my own. It took me a few days, and definitely didn’t go off without a hitch, especially on the 4TH day when I woke up to my base being in the process of getting raided, but thankfully, I was able to use a grenade launcher and flush out the raiders before they got to the juice.
To get the walls complete, I used the excavator which mines a bunch of different resources, including stone. For every one diesel fuel in the excavator, you get 10 thousand stone, which after being converted to wood with the shop in outpost can be made into over 20 high walls. After a couple of excavator runs, we had plenty of resources to complete the wall and have an entire safezone inside our compound, which other players on the server were not happy with at all.
