0After an over 3-year break, we're back in Minecraft for some more adventures! While I have played it occasionally off of Youtube, this is the first time in a long while that I've made a video of it, and today we're playing Bed Wars! This game has become extremely popular on the Hypixel server, so we decided to try it out! Just a quick warning if you ever face me... I COULD WIN THIS GAME IN MY SLEEP!

From Me: I'm sure you know what Minecraft is, and if you don't, well... I don't believe you. Anyway, Bed Wars is a different story. Basically, this mini-game revolves around defending a spawn point, that being your team's bed. So long as your bed is unbroken, you can respawn, but if it's destroyed and you're killed, you're out. So, how do you defend it, you ask? Great question! Rather than dig or kill for resources, you actually receive them over time in the form of iron, gold, diamond, and emeralds from different spawners, the first two being from the "furnace" at your base (with gold being rarer), diamonds from separate islands that must be built to, and emeralds at the center (which also must be built to) - at least until you upgrade your furnace enough so that it spawns emeralds. You spend these resources at two shops: one for individual upgrades, and the other for team upgrades, each with a variety of categories and effects. The team upgrades enhances the entire team, such as adding enchanments to the armor and weapons or improving the furnace spawn rate, and you must spend diamonds for these. The individual upgrades provide items, such as weapons, armors, potions, pickaxes, blocks (for building bridges, covering up beds for defense, etc), consumables, etc., and more valuable items cost rarer resources. The goal of the game is to strategize, use resources wisely, and figure out a way to take out the enemies' beds and eliminate them afterwards while at the same time defending your own. It's quite difficult, but I understand why it has quickly become popular... it's exhilarating!
