Today we look at I Heart NY | New York Style Parallel Compressor by Baby Audio. It's a smashing new vst plugin that does one thing, PARALLEL COMPRESSION. And it does para comp very well!

The plugin features just two knobs and a mix fader so it's hard to go wrong. If you struggle with normal compressors I highly recommend you to try out parallel compression to smash your tracks to a more compressed dynamic.

HOW TO DO NEW YORK COMPRESSION?
In the video I briefly explain how parallel compression works. We use I HEART NY on everything from loops, to programmed drum beats, bass lines and even acoustic guitar tracks.
