I Just Had A Nostalgia Overload Playing The Secret Of Retropolis In The Oculus Quest 2.
7Every once in a while a VR game comes along that really takes me back to the grand old days of the early PC gaming scene. To a time where the point and click adventeure format was King and games like the Tex Murphy series had awesome stories and wise cracking characters that would genuinely make me LOL. Well I am happy to say that The Secret Of Retopolis is one of them!
Peanut Button has created an amazing omage to those early PC gmes that really works well on the hardware of the Quest 2. The game was never very graphicly intensive anyway and when it first launched on Steam and I played it, the one headset I kept thinking it would be perfect for was the Oculus Quest 2! So I was obviously very happy to see this pop up on the store the other day!
Now I will say this game is pretty short if you fly through it but if you take your time and try to find all of the points you can click on it can be strtched a bit longer. The price might seem a bit steep at $12.99 for a game of this length, but I was glad to pay it if for nothing else but to support this indie studio and help them to bring me more of this becuase after playing The Secret of Retropolis a couple of times now I can honestly say that yes... I WANT MORE!!! []-)
