On Christmas day, I went over my portfolio to start planning my next moves heading into the new year, and noticed that my wallet was missing some funds. Yep, definitely not the best holiday surprise. But there were some good learnings that came from it that I really want to share with the community.
After digging around for answers, it turns out there was an exploit due to a compromised contract on an exchange platform that I interacted with, called Rubic.
Personally, I’ll be revoking access to smart contracts immediately after interacting with them, especially if it’s for something like a website I've used to swap funds.
