Now that we've got a rough plan in place of what we want to make, let's get to work making some temporary sprites that we can use to start making some of the core game systems.

I like to start off making my own sprites just in the built-in sprite editor to give me an idea of how things can look, and also let's me visually verify the game systems I develop function as intended. The great thing is that I can easily update these assets at a later date and completely change the look of the game!
