I Restarted The Game, But Completed The First 2 Chapter Departure & Ransom (Alan Wake Remastered 2)
I decided to start over? I guess at some point my stream crashed last time, but I'm happy that I started over. I have a better grasp of the game and now understanding the control I could focus on the plot slowly unfolding around me. Without the built-in how does this go bad feelings that I'm used to in horror games on my first play through, starting over allowed me to reflect on the situation that Alan quickly found himself in and I now have a opinion about Alan as the protagonist of the game. "for a writer and a writer of mystery novels at that. It's weird to me that he doesn't have a wealth of critical thinking ability" that may sound like a bad opinion and it might be, but it's invested me in the game. I think have an idea of how things went bad for me, but I think the first chapter 'Departure' has shown me than Alan will go through the rest of game on reflex instead of making choices balancing benefit and loss. I personally don't see this as a bad trait, but I'm so interested to see how he deals with the rest game following the critical path without trying to be cynical, objective or further questioning the information presented to him. I'm in for a fun experience seeing how Alan turns all these problems
