My First Time Playing Alan Wake ever [Video Cut out unexpectedly] Alan Wake Remastered 1
As a fan of the horror genre I've heard many good things about Alan wake and how surreal design did amazing things for video games as a whole since it was released. I also know this a game made Remedy a company that I've enjoyed a few games from. I just never played Alan Wake for some reason. I had a golden opportunity a few years ago when I picked up my copy of Quantum Break which came with a copy of Alan Wake and Alan Wake's American Nightmare which I have installed on my xbox, but I basically was to enthralled with Quantum Break to really shift away from it and once I did I move onto something new and never really started Alan Wake. It also mostly faded from my memory despite a good friend telling me if I loved the pacing and writing of Quantum Break that I'd enjoy it, plus s decent number of Easter eggs were direct call backs to the game and being told that they might share the same universe. Despite that I still let it fall into my backlog of games that I'd play one day.
That changed laster year when the game got a remaster while I working at GameStop. I instantly became interested the fact it got the remastered treatment and a few customers that came into pick up their preorder convinced me that it was something worth my time to play it. I added it to must buy list and a few weeks ago I went to pick up a few preorders and added it to my small pile of games and collectables.
which brings us to this video... I was enjoying playing the start of this blind, but at some point between trying to survive and getting to the gas station I didn't notice that twitch stoped recording and I honestly didn't notice when it happened. This video is a bit of a wash, but I enjoyed going in blind and can see already why it's so good.
