I Survived 100 Days in the Hardest RPG Modpack in Hardcore Minecraft...
1,832Infernal Origins has been considered one of the hardest rpg modpacks out there for many players. Meant for 3+ players, me and @TheRealElAbro take on the challenge as a duo in HARDCORE. With over 100 hours spent together on this modpack, we challenged ourselves to see how much we can accomplish (no spoilers)
What makes infernal origins the hardest rpg pack out there?
Every single day, the world scales in difficulty. More mobs immerge, they can have better armor and weapons and some of them even have special abilities that might be downright unfair at times. Dragons are considered bosses and don't go down unless you actually progress really far into the pack. Every single boss is overhauled with new attacks and events making it unique but equally brutal, even as a duo.
The pack is also difficult in the sense of how the classes work, every class works well together with a team of players, but for me and elabro.. we had to pick our 2 classes wisely as it was gonna be our only way to get through this pack as a duo in hardcore. But hey, we survived 100 days + in hardcore infernal origins! with many close calls may i add.

Well, it's an extremely challenging modpack with heavy inspiration from your usual MMO gameplay.
We're talking massive numbers, custom class based Origins, bosses with raid mechanics, and quick progression.
Oh and of course, TONS of custom made content specifically for this pack that you won't find anywhere else.
This modpack is built for at least 3+ players, but you can play solo if you'd like.
Additionally, this is best played like a rogue-like since it includes SCALING DIFFICULTY OVER TIME.
If you fall behind progression, do another run with your friends and with the knowledge you gained on your last run!
13 Custom Origins that all upgrade into stronger versions upon killing the Ender Dragon.
Built in multiplayer hosting with Essential, allowing you and your friends to play without buying a server.
Built in proximity voice chat by holding X, that also immediately works on servers with no setup!
Multiple bosses you've seen before with NEW custom mechanics and raid-like wipe attacks.
ACTUAL scary mobs, including elemental variations, enchanted mobs, AI enhancements, difficulty scaling, and hell they can even roll almost ANY gear on spawn!
Slayer tasks that award skill points with 13 skills to build into.
Major weapon and armor customization with rune slots, scrolls, affixes, built-in passives, and our own custom weapon mod Fabled Weaponry.
Almost all enchantment conflictions REMOVED, including modded ones!
Insta-kill prevention from one shots, including a down system that allows your friends to pick you back up.
Gravestones just in case you do die and you want your loot to be safe while going back.
Improvements to almost ALL parts of non-combat gameplay, such as custom Terraria inspired fishing, farming and cooking mods, and a TON of blocks to build with.
Massively overhauled world-gen with an extremely unique caving experience.
Special moons almost EVERY night with 6 variations.
Custom textures and sprites for ALL UIs, especially some sprite overhauls to make some other items look nicer.
Custom rarities and borders applied to ALL items based on MMO progression tiers. (This took forever dear god)
