Some guys think about the Roman Empire every day. I do too, but I also think about Samurai on the hour, every hour of the day.
I got to build what may be the start of a dream future army project...a mounted Samurai thanks to @eldritchfoundry1475 This company lets me delve into some creative time every month when I get to design my own models and create crazy backstories for them in my head as I paint them. Here's how and why I prime the way I do!
Two different rattle/spray cans are used-one full solid coat of Chaos Black, and a lighter coat of Grey Seer sprayed from above to add light/dark areas. The lighter coating of grey seer adds a small amount of grit(too small for the eye to see) from above to give the contrast paint a better surface to cling too. Contrast paints don’t work well on black primers, the colours won’t show up well.
