I got my hands on the new Mechanicum Battle Group box set thanks to @officialwarhammer and I immediately built one of the two Castellax Battle-automata. I hated building it but man I love the result! Super simple and quick scheme as always, and a few transfers and weathering to make it look like I spent a lot longer on it than I did! There's plenty of other cool stuff in this set, so let me know what else you'd like to see a tutorial on! I've already built the Triaros Conveyor...!

AK Terrain Texture paste in Firelands-perfect dupe for Martian Ironcrust but a lot cheaper!
Allow each stage to fully dry in between!
Gryph-Hound Orange (contrast)

Screaming Skull (layer) Light drybrush over the top!
