3fun fact: Nathan was never introduced to the VV trio as a SSS-rank soldier. He was introduced as a partner, not even a part of the team. Just someone they could call when their bs broke and needed repair.

His music could barely block out their intense screaming. It was annoying. Nathan hated this, more than anything. He tried to turn up the volume, and found a louder playlist, in the hopes of it being able to drown out their voices. Nathan leaned against the cold metal Mech, letting it send a chill down his spine. He wanted to leave, which he could just do. There was no one stopping him from getting up and walking out the door. Actually, there was someone stopping him. Himself. He couldn't get up. It was too much trouble. Nathan pulled out the gun from his pocket, playing around with it. What would they do if I actually pulled the trigger? The thought came to his head as an instinct. It almost made him feel dizzy. He pointed the gun at the ceiling, firing an empty shot. The rest of them shut up immediately.
"...thank you. It's a pain to listen to all of your screaming."
Nathan got up, looking them all dead in the eyes. They were all angry, yet they said nothing.
"25, we're leaving."
He began walking, followed by the giant robot. He turned the volume up just a bit more, headed towards his cabin. This day had been exhausting enough.
