I Would Like to Learn Brainwashing (Cult of the Lamb: Episode 006)
:::EXTRA LIFE CHARITY information at the end of the Description:::
Hello, Everyone! I am Josh, AKA The Biscuit Eater! Welcome to the sixth episode of my Long-Form Let's Play of "Cult of the Lamb".
Come! Sit with me and watch while I take you through a full-completion play-through of the game, with as few jump-cuts and time edits as humanly possible. In this play-through, you get to see a first-time run-through of the game, my first experience, and all the foibles and frustrations that are bound to come as a result.
The game is a relatively recent release, an indie game by the makers of "The Binding of Isaac", that marries that same cute yet nauseating art style with a new blending of Legend-of-Zelda Rouge-Like combat and Colony Sim Management. Yes... you read that correctly.
In the game you play as a literal sacrificial lamb, brought back to serve an evil (possibly? potentially? very likely?) Old God who has been imprisoned by their siblings. Your mission: kill the other Old Gods and set your patron free. To do so, you go about killing and converting the minions of your former slayers while gathering resources to support your loyal minions, who in turn increase your powers with their faith. Feed them, preach to them, clean up their inevitable messes, and sometimes play cruel tricks on them -- so long as they survive and worship, all is well.
It's a funny, campy, mildly disturbing romp, and here you'll get to watch me experience the whole of it. Sounds like fun, right? Just sign here on the dotted line...

And yes, that's right: this year, we've participated once again in the Extra Life charity's November 5th Gameday, joining in with Team Modsquad for gameday shenanigans! And once again, we are collecting donations in support of OHSU Doernbecher. This year, our aggressive goal is $1000, and we'll be working until December 31 to meet this goal.
Incentives for donations include:
- $15: Force me to wear various silly things throughout the episode, including wigs, masks, and cat-maid ears. Or overtake my voice with one of many Voicemod filters for 5 minutes.
- $50: Suggest a game for me to play in the near future on the channel (within ToS and content reason)
- $75: Challenge me to a Live, Streamed, multiplayer versus game online (and likely trounce me)!
- $250: a personally DM'd D&D (or another system) one-shot for you and up to four friends (online, not streamed)
And, if we make my (very) aggressive goal of $1000 this year, I will personally break one of my own personal rules, and we will play Alien: Isolation -- to completion -- on Twitch! So, come on -- just a few bucks can push my blood pressure over the edge here, folks! :)
