I snagged myself an IBM/Lenovo Thinkpad T60!

Shipped with a SATA drive, 1gb ram and a basic Intel Yonah T2300 CPU, sadly no decent video GPU options but for basic tasks the Intel video chips will do - assuming you don't want Crysis. I take a look at the unit as it came out the box, fiddle with the windows 7 build, replace the faulty trackpad and then upgrade the RAM to 4GB.

Its a solid piece of kit released in 2007, the last of the IBM products and has got the weird IBM/Lenovo branding, got to love the RGB logo from the classic IBM Thinkpad days. Great for a mobile netbook style PC, going to be used mostly for web browsing and typing stuff up in Libre Office.

UPDATE
As I was editing and uploading this video I fiddled some more and the laptop now has Devuan linux installed on the SSD, its much smoother running and has all I need for a basic laptop.
