One of my favorite DOOM WADs, this one's ICARUS: Alien Vanguard by TeamTNT, made as the team's first free release after their other megawad TNT: Evilution was bought out by id Software as a publishing deal. The megawad itself takes twelve years after the events of Doom II, where the Earth Defense Force had lost contact with their exploration cruiser, the Icarus. It had been overtaken by demons so it is up to the Doom marine to shuttle up to the spaceship and kill all the hostiles onboard the ship itself, on the neighboring planets of the Beta Pictoris, and in simulations. Truly one of the interesting WADs of all time.
