Ice Age : Dawn of the Dinosaurs the Video Game Gameplay chapter 18 - Grave Danger
15Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (or Ice Age 3) is a video game based on the movie with the same name. It was released on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, Playstation 2, Nintendo DS, and PC by Activision on June 30, 2009, 1 day before the movie's release. It is the sequel to the Ice Age 2 video game.
Most of the cast from the movie voiced the characters in the game, with the exceptions of Denis Leary, Simon Pegg, and Sean William Scott.
The game allows the player to take control of Manny, Sid, Diego, Scrat, Scratte, and Buck as you take on or run away from dangerous dinosaurs, roll an egg to safety, chase for your beloved acorn, and explore caves and jungles over fifteen levels. However, some characters are just for tiny parts in the game, like Manny and Diego. The main character in the game is Buck. There are eight mini-games to play either in single-player mode or with friends in multiplayer and get things from Fast Tony. In multiplayer mode, you can play as Mini-sloths and Baby Dinos. There are three different bosses in the game: Ankylosaurus, Chasmosaurus, and Rudy.
The herd has arrived in the Chasm of Death but Buck has ended up in the tar pits and he is trying to find the herd who is at the Chasm of Death on the other side of the tar pit. Once he reached the canyon, he has to fight off Guanlongs and a Chasmosaurus. When Buck enters a cave, he notices several poisonous gases and has to climb up a cliff through the upper tar pit. When he arrived in another canyon, he has to fight off more Guanlongs, Troodons, Dilophosaurs, spitting plants, and an Ankylosaurus. After climbing the cliff, he comes to a cave where he has to slide down a skeleton slide, roll to the bottom of a hill and tar pit. At the end of the level, the herd gets out of the Chasm of Death and reaches the Skeleton Bridge.
