Icewind Dale II - Enhanced Edition : Limha Battle on Heart of Fury Difficulty
1Fighting Limha and her allies in the IWD2 EE mod. Limha will try to disable you with Chaos, before teleporting away and summoning in allies en masse.
To beat her, I use Simple Summoning, then strip her defenses quickly. Before the fight begins, I cast Perception Filter on everyone except for Kiara and Sophie.
Kiara, Paladin of Helm - Serves as the party's main tank/decoy. She opens with her AoE smite before staying put and attacking.
Sophie, Barbarian - Helps Kiara off-tank, but immediately attacks Limha once she is in range.
Lucian, Druid - AoE damage. He opens with Chain Lightning, then Fire Storm to stack fire damage quickly. It is he that ends up killing Limha.
Trace, Wizard - Opens with Chaos to confuse Limha's troll allies, then fetches her to the party with Simple Summoning. Lastly, he removes her buffs with Mordenkainen's Disjunction. He doesn't do a single point of damage in the fight, but is perhaps the most vital in winning.
Cody, Cleric of Lathander - Opens with Symbol of Pain to lower the trolls' combat effectiveness, then casts Flame Strike to deal damage. No one really needs much healing in this fight, so Cody goes on the offensive.
Leon, Sorcerer - Casts Horrid Wilting, then Delayed Blast Fireball. Leon is the party's main offensive nuker, and doesn't shy away from his role, here.
