PLEASE READ THE VIDEO DESCRIPTION & TURN ON ANNOTATIONS!
This will net me both the 4 hour & 2 hour speedrun trophies; Express Journey (G) & Castle Guide (G) respectively. If you do not already have Express Journey (G) by completing the game within 4 hours and yet you earn the Castle Guide (G) trophy via completing the game within 2 hours, you will get both trophies.

No commentary due to only recording footage to show proof on a successful 2 hour speedrun, one of the only speedruns I've ever done. I wanted to record the entire run but I had to reload checkpoints too many times, and this was my second attempt to reach the credits from this checkpoint, being the Main Gate + Both Gates Activated + Yorda not weakened. As you can see by my trophies at the beginning, this was recorded soon after I purchased the Team ICO HD Collection for PS3, way before I even started recording the Let's Play of ICO!

You can see my previous failed finish time on File 10 (New Game+ start) before I load File 3. YES, I WAS THAT CLOSE! Below is the info you need to know, plus a few tips:

- File 3 loaded: Main Hall + Both Gates Active + Yorda okay (1;27;28)
- Previous finish: "End" (2;00;34)
- This run's finish: "End" (1;59;49)
- Press pause to skip cutscenes, which includes the short ones that point to when switches activate; you save a few seconds.
- You cannot skip these cutscenes; the bridge parts, Yorda saves you, the Queen speaks, the credits, waking at the beach, and finding Yorda on the beach. Make sure you leave ALOT of time for these cutscenes.
- Multi-Jumping is slightly faster than walking, hence why I jump ALOT.
- Moving while hanging off a ledge is slightly faster than moving on a ledge.
- You can jump off a chain without swinging if you face your back to your destination.
- Drop off ladders and ledges but hug them while falling to decent quick and avoid death.
- Normally when you Game Over, you respawn at the last Idol Statue or checkpoint. But if you do this, your time still counts up; so it's best to reload from the Title Screen. HOWEVER, if you die during the Final Stretch, you respawn at the last doorway you went through. But if you fall down at any point at the Waterworks, it's best to reload.
- Other tricks for earlier parts of the game that can save you some time I may show off in a separate video. (Eg. Part 3, the intended use of the "Useless Crane Drawbridge" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKpL_0-tqi0)
- Other than that, ALWAYS run from shadows, screen-kill them with Yorda moving Idol Statues if you can. For most of the puzzles and rooms, you must leave Yorda in the best place possible for long puzzles away from her to minimise the chances of Shadows kidnapping her; or just do the puzzle as quick as possible.
- If you must fight, do it QUICK. Make sure you have the best possible weapon and attacking strategies; like grouping them up in a corner to combo them all at once.
