On May 10, 2024 in Florida, an officer pulled over a vehicle for failing to stop at several traffic signals flashing red. The signals were inoperable due to power outages in the area after a storm, and Florida State Statue 316.1235 requires all drivers to come to a complete stop at any signalled intersection that is inoperable. This is police footage of the events that followed.
