[IL-2] First BF109 E-4 pvp combat
0At the start of intercepting a low il-2, I was shot by artillery. Most of my tail blew off.
Moscow's on a 40% discount. That's kinda rare, i just wanted the bf109 e4, the ju88, bf110, and the I-16 (which happens to be the easiest to taxi). Turns out the il2 1941 is fucking awesome at maneuvering. Haven't got combat footage of it yet though, but I do bet it can dogfight. It probably can dogfight better than the mig-3 or the lagg-3 with the 37mm cannon, that much.
On the way back to the home airfield, i thought my engine died due to damage but it died due to fuel starvation. The server was the DED/72nd Air Group "Random Expert" server which required uses to navigate by themselves without map markers. There's only 8km visibility or so at the time on the session so finding which town was witch ended up taking me to do a forced landing. Was only ~10km or so from the airfield though....
