Chapter 4: The Golden Ridge comes to a close as we make our way higher and have a bit of a panic attack... which I'm apparently awful at handling. That's weirdly fitting? Also.... we talk about big food.
Max and Lin are joined by the BLG boy himself Ian this time around! Ian is a big fan of Celeste and I believe he has 100% completed the game himself. All those juicy berries, B sides and C sides. He may even have some speed run knowledge to drop on us? But no spoilers! We're experiencing the story and challenges for the first time after all.
Celeste is a stunning Indie Platformer video game. It is a fully-fleshed version of the 2016 game, which was made in four days solely by Thorson and Berry during a game jam. It contains 8 Chapters and free DLC, Chapter 9! So far the gameplay, soundtrack OST, story, and visuals are all top notch! The platforming gives me a bit of a Super Meat Boy vibe, with it's quick tight controls and "keep dying and trying" style of gameplay. Whereas the story, and presentation feels like it might be scratching the Undertale itch a bit? We shall see!
