Imagining Ark 2 In Unreal Engine 5 - The Island - Part 2
Welcome Survivors to this updated version of Ark The Island in Unreal Engine 5.1.
I read all your comments, good or bad, and did my best to correct the issues you noted :
- Increased asset render distance to avoid pop-ins/outs
- Improved water to a more tropical style but it's still a flat plane. Sorry, Oceanology is too expensive for me ;)
- Increased foliage subsurface lighting
- Slightly reduced vignette effect
- Corrected ambient sounds
- Updated Rex, Raptor & Trike to latest TLCs
- Improved Dino turning
- Corrected many Dino sounds
And last but not least, added a Game Of Thrones "Warg" feature to possess and control Dinos !
All assets (except grass) are Nanite and lighting is handled by Lumen.
