5The International Monetary Fund (IMF) updated India’s growth forecast for FY24. The forecast was earlier at 6.1% and now it has been upgraded to 6.3% on the back of stronger-than-expected consumption growth in April to June quarter. The IMF's upgrade is the latest in several other revisions in India's growth forecasts. The World Bank also forecasts India's growth at 6.3%. This is almost in line with RBI's expectations of 6.5%.
