OH my first speedpaint in... oh god... I don't even want to think about it haha! and of course I HAD to paint the Goddess of Rot!

Sorry for the zoom-in parts being blurry. I thought I'd try CSP's recording feature and only realized in editing that it doesn't work for close ups, but nonetheless it's the only footage I got, oops!

With me coming back to youtube more casually, I've been having fun dick'n around with the video edits. I thought it would be fun to kinda show me taking a step or so with prepping to paint, which would be to get References!!! They are essential to know what the heck you're painting/drawing, otherwise you are doing a 'draw from memory challenge', and despite taking some artistic freedoms such as merging stage 1 and 2, or relaxing on the rot on her exposed arm, I wanna know what I'm drawing haha. And in this case, I went and got my own references from the game as google failed me for Caelid lol.

Plus, I thought the intro kinda matched the spirit of the Chaos Elden Ring video I posted last week haha! I want to have more fun showing my personality in my videos instead of before where there was this flat phase into the timelapse video. and I think yall will figure out really quickly that I'm a very dorky goober that embraces the cringe of a goblin haha. which I hope is fun haha. And I thought a fun name for the speedpaint series I'm gonna continue could be called "Imma Paint 'blank character' "

Also I got a little dude!!! how cute! She will come very much in handy for some future video ideas I got planned which are a bit more tutorial-like in nature.

This is my first painting since my 3-4 year long burn out. I'm definitely not painting up to the speed I once was, but I had a blast painting this. It was very fun and amazing and I think it might be one of my best! especially for semi-realism instead of the cartoons I'm more known for. (Study fundies and you can do both 😉) I ton of thought went into this painting, and I hope it shows! :D

I know like 95-99%% of my subs are gone despite the number still on my channel, but for those that stuck around, thanks for not forgetting about me. Sorry I was away for so long. you guys are the real ones. And for anyone that's new that stumbles across my videos, welcome to the Legion! I'll probably post once every week or two, give or take, and I hope you guys like my new content, it will be a little different than the past. which I feel is refreshing. a bit of a reboot, if you will. 💙
