Impact Miniatures: Lost Minis Kickstarter! Lizard and Kev Adams Gobbos!
69Now this was an ambitious project Impact put on- try and salvage a bunch of model assets from various failed kickstarters and vendors! What a cool idea!
Naturally I picked up the Troll Forged Sun God. It was a model I'd always been interested in. There's a skull that was included that I have absolutely no idea where it's supposed to go. It's a nice model and all, but it was completely eclipsed by the quality of the Kev Adams goblins I got as well.
Those models were a great deal- crisply cast in resin, nice details, great sculpts, and tons of variety! They seriously made my day! If the weather would stop being windy I'd already have primed them and started painting them! I still don't know how they were able to save all those old Heartbreaker sculpts. I can remember seeing them!
Impact mentioned this had been a tough campaign to deliver on (especially the Torn Armor sculpts) but major kudos to them for pulling it off. Perhaps we'll see a second campaign in the future for lost minis? Wouldn't that be something?
