Welcome to Episode 3 of the #411. The #411 is the section of the channel where video games per request, popularity, on sale or general interest are reviewed with a short playthrough.

The game reviewed in this video is Impact Winter. The game is available for download on Steam, PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store.

Impact Winter is a post apocalyptic survival adventure set 8 years after and event known as "the catastrophe". This event was an asteroid collision that's ravaged Earth's population and buried the planet in an ice age. This has resulted in lowered temperatures and constant snowfall, ash and debris. You play as Jacob Solomon. You are the leader of a small group of survivors holed-up in a remote church which is your headquarters and safe-haven. The story begins when a mysterious radio transmission is intercepted stating "in 30 days help is coming". Impact Winters is a top down survival; sandbox with little to no barriers. It is non-linear and open to any explorer style. For example you can dig for buried secrets, hunt wildlife, take shelter from fierce storms, investigate mysterious signals, set up camp during long expeditions, craft various items, command your team back at the Church, trade with wandering Nomads and upgrade your base. Just to name a few things.
