2Hello, guys! I deeply apologize for not uploading anything last week! I was stuck in a home without wifi, which really restricted all the time I had to getting things all done & recorded... but I'm back! And this time, I won't just be premiering ONE video... ohhh no. Since I missed a week... I decided to make this a DOUBLE upload as an apology for keeping you all waiting! [I hope you enjoy!] For the second video, we'll be talking about a fan-game that I really loved when it first made it's debut... and it's called: "Sonic Limitless".
This particular fan-game is unique in taste. Unlike the footage of this video... it runs at a very smooth 60fps, and it plays like a charm! It reminds me of the day I first got "Sonic Colors" and played through it with my family. It wasn't exactly the best jam I've ever tasted... but I'm very glad I played it. ["Sonic Colors" is purely nostalgic for me, but I don't think it's a bad game at all.] The same goes for "Sonic Unleashed" as well... but to be honest {as a casual gamer myself}, I have a different preference when it comes to playing that game. [No elaboration on that.] But aside from pure nostalgia... THIS game does the impossible and translates all of the good aspects of what makes "Modern Sonic" work into something beneficial to SEGA as a whole whenever it comes down to potential.
Despite all of it's minor flaws, this fan-game truly makes the Sonic Formula feel like a carbonara for your very soul. I mean... I can't put my finger on it, but I find it odd that an action as simple as BOOSTING feels more like an optional means to recover both in the air & on the ground. {That's a really good thing.} And the homing attack itself... ohhhh man. It feels FRESH, and it feels like an optional measure that'll help the player regain their bearings whenever they wanna go the extra mile. [And don't even get me STARTED on that beautiful spindash manuver.] But aside from that stuff... this fan-game was a reeeeeeal treat to play, so I hope you'll be able to enjoy it as much as I have when you finally get the chance to play it.
